Science

Currently in science, students are learning about air. They have been investigating air through various experiments. They have used feathers, straws, water, vials, and even parachutes! Science is definitely one of their favorite subjects.

First Week of School!

Team building activity. Students had to hold hands and work together as a team to keep the balloon in the air.

Students drew a picture of their first day of school.

During the first week of school students become familiar with the procedures and expectations of second grade. Students also became aquatinted with each other through team and class building games.

Open House

Thank you to all the families that attended this year's open house!  It was so nice to have the opportunity to meet everyone before school actually started.  I look forward to an exciting year and I can't believe tomorrow is the first day of school!  See everyone bright and early.  

School is Fast Approaching!

It is so hard to believe that the 2009-2010 school year is only 15 days away!  

I can't wait to meet all my new second grade students and I look forward to the exciting year ahead of us!
